resort policies
general policies
- Rates are in USD and do not include 12% Government tax, 10% service charge or 5% facility fee.
- Rates are subject to change without notice.
- Extra person fees of $60 per adult (age 16+) and $40 per child (age 6 to 15) may apply if exceeding the included occupancy on a room-only booking.
- Children 5 and under stay free when accompanied by an adult and staying in the same room.
- 5-night minimum stay required over the holiday period, from December 19 to January 2.
- Check-in starts at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m.
- Pets are welcome at Salterra Resort and Spa. To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, there is a maximum of 2 pets per room, not to exceed 40 lbs each. Guests must apply for TCI government entry for all pets. Please note that there is a non-refundable pet fee per stay of $120, and non-refundable pet fee per night of $20.
- Salterra Resort & Spa is a smoke free property, and no smoking is permitted in the units or on the patios. A fine of USD$250.00 will be added to your account if smoking in guest rooms or patios is reported.
deposit policy
- A 3-night deposit is required upon booking to confirm reservation.
- If a reservation is 3 nights or less, full payment is due upon booking.
- Any remaining balance is charged 7 days prior to arrival.
- Salterra Resort & Spa can accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
cancellation policy
- Reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to 7 days prior to arrival.
- If cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the total reservation amount is forfeit.
- No refunds will be issued for no shows, late arrivals, or early departures.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for any unused portion of a package.
holiday reservation policies
- A 5-night minimum stay is required over the holiday period, from December 19 to January 2.
- A 50% deposit is required at time of booking to confirm holiday reservations.
- The remaining 50% balance will be charged 30 days prior to arrival
- Reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to 30 days prior to arrival.
- Reservations cancelled within 30 days are non-refundable and subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total reservation amount.
- No refunds will be issued for no shows, late arrivals, or early departures.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for any unused portion of a package.
hurricane policy
- Hurricane policy is in effect from June 1 to November 30.
- In the event of an official evacuation order, Salterra Resort & Spa will not penalise guests for any unused nights.
- Guests will be presented with a voucher to use towards a future stay for the number of unused nights.
- Voucher will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
In the event of an official hurricane warning issued for the islands of Turks and Caicos, Salterra Resort & Spa will:
- Waive the cancellation penalty.
- Issue a refund of the deposit paid or change the reservation to a future date.
travel insurance
Salterra Resort & Spa strongly recommends that guests purchase travel insurance to ensure they are covered in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as:
- Medical emergencies
- Trip delays and cancellations
The resort will not be held responsible for any of the above and no refunds will be issued.
