Terms and Conditions

• Private in-room care is charged hourly, per child: $35 for infants (0–18 months) and $30 for toddlers (2–4 years). Each additional child from the same family is +$10 per child, per hour, applicable to toddler bookings only and limited to a maximum of three children per sitter.
• Group care through the Kids Club, outside operational hours, is $20 per child plus a flat fee, for toddlers (2–4 years) and for children 4 years and above.
• All rates are quoted ++ and are subject to an additional 27%, comprising a 10% service charge, 5% facilities fee, and 12% tax.
• A late evening surcharge applies to any service continuing after 9:00 PM.
• Babysitters should be booked 24 hours in advance. Bookings made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a last-minute booking fee of US$20++.
• Sessions lasting more than eight (8) hours in a day with the same sitter will incur overtime, charged at time and a half for any hours beyond eight (8) in one shift.
• All bookings falling on Public Holidays or New Year's Eve will be charged at double rate, in accordance with the Turks and Caicos Islands Employment Ordinance.
• We request notification at least eight (8) hours in advance if a booking is to be cancelled, or a US$30.00 cancellation fee will be charged. Bookings cancelled within two hours of the start time will be charged the full hourly service rate.
• A meal charge of US$30.00 applies for babysitters engaged for more than five (5) hours, charged to the guest.
• All babysitters must take a half-hour break during a working day of eight (8) hours, and are entitled to water and restroom breaks throughout the service.
• After 10:00 PM, babysitters require travel expenses / taxi fare of US$30.00.
• While performing babysitting duties, sitters are not permitted to perform any other services, such as housekeeping.
• If your child is displaying any symptoms of illness, we will not be able to provide babysitting services.
• At the end of the service, the guest is requested to sign a form verifying hours, meals, and taxi fare where applicable.
• Private in-room care is available for infants from birth (0–18 months); the Kids Club Manager will assess each booking individually based on the developmental needs of the child.
• The cost of each service will be added to the guest's bill and is payable upon checkout. Cash is not accepted.
• Babysitting may be pre-booked via the Kids Club at kids@salterra.com, or while on property through your butler or by visiting the Salterra Kids Club.
