Terms and Conditions

• The rate for babysitting is $30++ charged hourly per child, the fee has an additional 27% GST and service charge.
• Babysitters need to be booked 24 hours in advance. Bookings with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a last-minute booking fee of US$20++
• Please note that sessions lasting more than eight hours in a day with the same sitter will result in overtime charges. Overtime will be charged at a rate of time and a half for any sitter working more than eight (8) hours one shift.
• All bookings that fall on Public Holidays or New Year’s Eve will be charged at a rate of two in accordance with the Turks and Caicos Island Employment Ordinance.
• We request that we are notified at least EIGHT (8) hours in advance if the booking is to be cancelled, or a US$30.00 cancellation fee will be charged. Bookings cancelled within two hours of the start time will be charged as the hourly service rate.
• There will be a meal charge of US$30.00 for babysitters over five (5) hours, this is charged on the guest.
• All babysitters MUST have a half-hour break during their working day of eight (8) hours.
• After 10pm babysitters require travel expenses/taxi fare of US$30.00.
• More than two children under the age of four will require an additional babysitter.
• The cost of each service will be added to the guest’s bill and is payable upon checkout, cash isn't accepted.
• Babysitters are entitled to water, and restroom breaks during the service. While performing babysitting duties, they are not permitted to perform any other services such as housekeeping etc.
• If your child is displaying any sickness symptoms, we will not be able to provide babysitting services.
• At the end of the service time, the guest is requested to sign a form verifying the hours, meals, and taxi fare if applicable.
• The minimum age for babysitting service Is 6 months although in some cases the Kids Club Manager will access each case depending on the developmental growth of the child on case-to-case scenario.
• The babysitting service can either be prebooked through our Kids Club official email kids@salterra.com or while on the property through the guest’s butlers or visiting the Salterra Kids Club.
